Colossians 2:20-3:7
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the

ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the
using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a
shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in
any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are
above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on
things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid
with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye
also appear with him in glory.
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth;
fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and
covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh
on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye
lived in them.

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us
in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath
suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the
rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For
the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the
Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings,
banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to
the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him
that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
Romans 2:11-13
For there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
James 2:8-10
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
